Habitat Builds

Most of you probably know Habitat for Humanity volunteers build houses with families in need. What you might not know is that nationally more than 800 Habitat homes have been built by crews of women. Habitat for Humanity of Grant County is about to add another house to that women-built total.
On August 27th, local women volunteers, with the aid and guidance of male trainers, began building the next Habitat home in Lancaster, WI. This build will the fourth stick-built home made possible by Habitat for Humanity of Grant County and our fifth home since becoming an Habitat for Humanity affiliate in 2001.
